THREE TAVERNS PONCE BREW TERMINAL – A BREWERY, DISTILLERY, & TAPROOM – TO OPEN AT PONCE CITY MARKET FALL 2025

From Three Taverns Craft Brewery, Offerings Will Include Plenty of Beer on Tap, Craft Cocktails, & Food from DAS BBQ

Located on the Ground Floor of Signal House, Right on the Atlanta Beltline’s Eastside Trail

ATLANTA, GA  (February 13, 2025) – Atlanta's Ponce City Market announces Three Taverns Craft Brewery is set to open Three Taverns Ponce Brew Terminal, a new brewery, distillery, and taproom with food from DAS BBQ, this fall. Located alongside the Atlanta Beltline’s Eastside Trail, the beermaker’s new outpost will be on the ground floor of Signal House, the sophisticated residential community providing a frictionless urban living experience at Ponce City Market.

Founded in 2013 by President & CEO Brian Purcell, who initially got his start in beer making through home brewing, Three Taverns is an award-winning craft brewery that produces a diverse lineup of beer styles and flavors, including classic lagers, multiple IPA styles – like its flagship A Night On Ponce IPA and “Ponce” variants – unique sours, and big flavorful stouts. Ponce Brew Terminal will welcome guests to enjoy the brewery’s complete lineup of beers, craft cocktails, and a full kitchen with food from DAS BBQ.

Three Taverns has tapped local architecture and interior design firm Gentle Works to design the space, which will feature garage doors opening to a large outdoor patio overlooking the Beltline. Principals Holden Spaht and Emily Wirt will draw inspiration from the location’s rich past as part of an industrial rail corridor and also reach back beyond the days of Sears, Roebuck, & Co to the 19th Century when it was home to Ponce de Leon Springs and the area surrounding Ponce City Market was an attraction with walking trails, a four-acre lake, picnic grounds, and eventually, an amusement park.

Three Taverns Ponce Brew Terminal marks the brewery’s third location, with the original located in Decatur, Georgia. The second location is called The Imaginarium and opened in Atlanta’s Reynoldstown neighborhood in 2020 with a focus on more experimental offerings. In addition to serving beer at each brewery, Three Taverns’ beers are available at restaurants and stores throughout the state of Georgia and parts of Tennessee.

Over the years, the team has participated in some of the country’s most prestigious beer festivals and garnered numerous awards for both their taprooms and wide variety of beers. Three Taverns was named Best Georgia Beer in Atlanta Magazine's 2024 “Best Of” Awards and Best Brewery in their 2020 edition. The team also brought home two gold, five silver, and two bronze awards across multiple styles from the 2024 Untappd Awards, a bronze award for their cask ales at the 2017 and 2023 ATL Cask Ale Fest, and a 2023 gold award for their 11th Anniversary Barleywine and 2017 and 2019 People's Choice Awards for their barrel-aged imperial stouts at the Strong Beer Festival. In 2016, A Night On Ponce was voted best new IPA in Beer Guys Radio’s public poll, and Three Taverns’ taprooms have won numerous design awards from Hospitality Design, American Society of Interior Designers, and more.
