Described as ‘James Brown meets Rodrigo y Gabriela’, Jonjan Kavlakoglu combines the athletic skill of passionate Flamenco with highly dynamic Funk playing -pushing an audience’s expectation of what a solo guitar can do in the right hands. Born in Istanbul with British/Turkish heritage, and having performed for George Benson, Apple, the BBC, Google, on the London Eye and in Jimi Hendrix’s bedroom to name some highlights, Jonjan is a master of his craft and a whirlwind of acoustic-percussive mastery in action.

The journey from Belfast to Los Angeles, entwined with a lifetime spent at the coalface of bona fide rock n roll, has made for a heady cocktail of creativity and popularity. Ricky Warwick, founder of The Almighty, Black Star Riders, The Fighting Hearts, acclaimed and respectful frontman of Thin Lizzy since 2011, remains unstoppable.

Listen to music from Ricky Warwick HERE.

This time, Warwick is on a solo run with the release of his new album Blood Ties, which will be released worldwide via Earache Records on March 14, 2025. Acknowledging that it was time to mine a deep seam for this record, the busiest man in the business has left nothing in the dressing room. Big cathartic guitar sounds and life-affirming, often joyous assessments of where he stands in this time and place make this album a standout piece of work in a career that has spanned over four decades. The Northern Irish man has spent his time well and the foundations for an album such as Blood Ties have been laid on solid ground.

As a solo artist and a singer/songwriter, Ricky Warwick has also collaborated with some of the finest musicians on the planet on his new album Blood Ties which was cowritten by Keith Nelson (Buckcherry, Blackberry Smoke), and features Billy Duffy (The Cult), Lita Ford and Charlie Starr (Blackberry Smoke).

Listen to Ricky’s new single “Don’t Leave Me In The Dark,” featuring Lita Ford HERE, and pre-order the Blood Ties album now on colored vinyl, signed CD, and more HERE.
