First-Ever Year-Round Head Hunter Line Extension Highlights Plan
MIDDLEBURG HTS., OH , December 30, 2024 – Fat Head’s Brewery announced its 2025 Beer Release schedule with the biggest news being the introduction of Jungle Juice Head Hunter IPA. The launch of this long-time taproom favorite is the first year-round line extension for 2023 double gold award-winning flagship Head Hunter IPA. Jungle Juice will enjoy a draft-only sneak preview in February, followed by wide-scale release in 6pk, 12pk and draft in all markets of Fat Head’s existing distribution footprint.
Other highlights for 2025 include Leaf Man Lager (partnered with Cleveland Metroparks) in Northeast Ohio and Yinzer Lager in Western Pennsylvania joining the year-round roster; both were introduced in Spring of 2024 in 15pk cans. Wicked Willy’s West Coast IPA, formerly exclusive to the ‘One Big Hoppy Family’ Variety 12pk, will be available year-round as well within Northeast Ohio and greater Columbus.
Seasonal favorite Spooky Tooth Imperial Pumpkin will undergo a format change, shifting from 4pk to 6pk upon it release next August. Stumble Berry Imperial Blueberry, currently available in single-serve 19.2 oz. cans and previously a Spring seasonal release in 4pk cans, will also shift into 6pk cans year- round, with Northeast Ohio and Columbus availability for this brew. Getting a head start on the new year, Crumble Berry Cinnamon and Vanilla Blueberry Ale dropped earlier in December, while 2024’s most popular new release, a Head Hunter IPA Variety 12pk featuring the original and 3 twists on it – Simply Simcoe, Tropical Thunder and a Double Dry-Hopped version, enjoyed an initial drop pre-Thanksgiving with one more release slated for late January.
‘We’re obviously most excited and enthusiastic about Jungle Juice Head Hunter,’ said Matt Cole, Master Brewer and Co-Founder. ‘We spent a lot of time getting the beer just right with great orange and citrus flavor additions together with the classic Head Hunter hop character that make it a wonderfully refreshing beer to experience. It disappears quickly whenever we feature it on draft at our tap rooms and I think people are going to love being able to bring cans home to enjoy.’
Fat Head’s rotating seasonal lines will experience only minor adjustments, with the Seasonal IPA range now featuring 3 beers – all returning brews – rather than 4 in the series. Alpha Ambush will be followed by Benjamin Danklin which will make way for IBU-sive. The holiday seasonal lineup in 2025 will follow the same schedule as this year: St. Fatty’s Irish-style Red Ale, Lime Feelin’ Good Mexican-style Lager, Oktoberfest, closing with Holly Jolly Christmas Ale and Pimp My Sleigh Belgian-style Christmas Ale. Two limited edition takes on Head Hunter complete the 2025 lineup – Imperial Head Hunter arriving in time for National IPA Day in July and August and Fresh-Hopped Head Hunter arriving in October.
