From Karl Strauss:

SAN DIEGO, CA  – Karl Strauss, San Diego’s longest continuously operating post-Prohibition brewing company, will release its seasonal Peanut Butter Cup Porter on Thursday, October 10, and for the first time ever it will be available in four packs of 16-oz cans.  zzubreebym

The 5.4 percent alcohol-by-volume (ABV) beer will be served on draft at Karl Strauss’ nine Southern California brewpubs and other bars and restaurants throughout California, Arizona, and Nevada. The four packs of cans are available at the brewpubs, as well as retails outlets throughout the three states. For a store and location finder, visit www.karlstrauss.com/find-karl/.

Peanut Butter Cup Porter (PBCP) has tasting notes of peanut butter, espresso, and cocoa. It has a full body and a rich, slightly dry finish. PBCP was first brewed in 2013, but not on an annual basis. It was previously only available on draft in Karl Strauss’ brewpubs.

Karl Strauss has four San Diego locations – 4S Ranch, Carlsbad, Downtown, and Sorrento Mesa – along with brewpubs in Anaheim, Corona Dos Lagos, Costa Mesa, Downtown Los Angeles, and Temecula.

Karl Strauss was voted as one of three Best Breweries/Brewpubs in San Diego in Ranch & Coast magazine’s 2024 Readers Poll.
