Pittsburgh's signature Oktoberfest kicks off Thursday, September 19th with a new Munich-style First Firkin-tapping VIP-only Party with music by the Polkamaniacs 4!

Your ticket to the tapping also includes:

• a commemorative glass stein

• two full stein fills

• a buffet meal featuring both German and Pittsburgh favorites as prepared by our chef

Penn's owner Stefan Nitsch, who hails originally from Austria, felt compelled to bring the event to Pittsburgh: “I grew up surrounded by traditions such as this and it is my honor to bring this firkin-tapping to the people of Pittsburgh. This event will really charge things up in a new way with the kickoff ceremony I always felt belonged at every Oktoberfest.” This fun and casual new event is one that both honors the tradition and levels up on the fun factor-- it's a smaller yet casual VIP party with a limited number of tickets available.
