From Tröegs:
Josh Stolberg has a new feather for his cap – the winning 2024 Art of Tröegs piece. Soaring to the judges favorite, the Virginia artist pieced together “Bird of Tröegs” with our packaging materials, including bottle caps, cans, pop tabs, corks & carriers. “It took years – and a couple road trips to the brewery – to collect everything,” says Stolberg. Congratulations to Josh, and we'll share more masterpieces leading up to our gallery opening and Art Market on Sat/Sept. 14. See more at http://blog.troegs.com.

HERSHEY, PA – Tröegs Independent Brewing announces the winner of its annual Art of Tröegs contest.
For almost two decades, the Art of Tröegs contest has invited fans to create an original work of art inspired by the independent, family-owned brewery.
This year’s grand prize winner, Josh Stolberg, wowed the brewery’s employees with his majestic entry titled “Bird of Tröegs.” Stolberg crafted this intricate piece using a wide variety of Tröegs’ packaging materials including bottlecaps, aluminum cans, pop-tabs, 6-pack carriers, and corks.
“This project was a particularly fun challenge,” wrote Josh in the inspiration story accompanying his entry. “The shape of the Tröegs logo was perfect for the body feathers and originally got me thinking about making a bird. It took years - and a couple road trips to the brewery - to collect everything used in this project.”
His winning piece – along with two dozen other Tröegs-inspired works – will be on display following the 2024 Art of Tröegs Gallery Opening at 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 14 at the Hershey, PA, brewery.
The gallery opening will coincide with the inaugural Tröegs Art Market, which will take place at the brewery from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Art Market will feature a wide variety of handcrafted items for sale from local artisans – including Art of Tröegs alumni and past Nugget Nectar First Squeeze poster artists – such as clothing, jewelry, pottery, crafts, ornaments, and more. Admission is free and open to the public.
