Budweiser & Cardinals Star Outfielder Team Up to Open "The Noot Baar"

FOR A LIMITED TIME, THE NOOT BAAR PRESENTED BY BUDWEISER, WILL SERVE UP A LARS NOOTBAAR INSPIRED EXPERIENCE FOR THE HOMETOWN CROWD

St. Louis, MO  – July 22, 2024 – Today, Budweiser and St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Lars Nootbaar announced the opening of The Noot Baar presented by Budweiser. Located within fan-favorite Helen Fitzgerald's Irish Grill & Pub (3650 S Lindbergh Blvd, St. Louis, MO), the activation will bring to life a Lars Nootbaar-themed baseball experience complete with custom exterior signage, special giveaways for fans and customized personal touches inspired by Lars’ career and favorite things. Timed to coincide with MLB Players Weekend, when the league highlights player stories, The Noot Baar presented by Budweiser will be open to the public starting at 6 p.m. on August 15 through August 18.

“I’ve said it before, but St. Louis is like baseball heaven to me, I feel so fortunate playing for this town and for these fans,” said Budweiser partner player and Cardinals outfielder Lars Nootbaar. “Budweiser is making it possible for me to show my gratitude to this incredible fan base and city with an experience like this and for that I am so grateful. I mean who wouldn’t want a bar named after them!”

Lars and Budweiser worked closely to incorporate his personality into the design and programming of this special activation. In fact, the concept for The Noot Baar presented by Budweiser came from Lars himself when he was asked “If you had your own bar, what would you name it?”. Over the course of the weekend, the bar will host viewing parties for the Cardinals’ three game series against the Dodgers, feature a new menu item selected by Lars, offer Budweiser sampling, giveaways, promotions and other special ways to enjoy baseball with a Budweiser in hand.
