A popular form of summer refreshment in Germany, the Radler is typically a combination of lager and citrus soda in equal parts. As the story goes, an enterprising tavern owner outside of Munich first came up with the mixed drink in the 1920s when a crowd of thirsty cyclists showed up at his bar and he needed to stretch his beer supply. Our invitational festival is back! On Saturday, July 20th we're throwing an all-day party in Ballard with guest taps from some of the breweries we've befriended across the country including: Alvarado Street (CA), Gnarly Barley (LA), Hop Butcher (IL), Fort George (OR), Our Mutual Friend (CO), and more. 6/30 - Melanie Rogers Live at the Ballard Taproom
Indie pop, singer-songwriter Melanie Rogers finds the most joy out of sharing her music with others. Originally from California, she now considers Seattle home and is so excited to get back into live music. Her biggest inspirations are Gabrielle Aplin, LÉON, and Wafia. She’ll play two sets on the patio from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m.
7/1 - Music Bingo at the Ballard Taproom
Music Bingo combines two things everyone loves into a night full of fun and prizes! Every player gets six bingo cards and an answer key for each themed round. The host plays a clip from a song and contestants find the artist and mark the number on their card. It starts at 7:00pm and it's free to play.
7/3 - Trivia Night at the Ballard Taproom
Meet us on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. for free trivia with Head in the Clouds. It’s hosted by Jeopardy! champions and questions cover a wide variety of topics, with a heavy bent toward pop culture. Come early to snag a table and order food, and stick around for a chance at a prize!
