Creature Comforts CEO Chris Herron Steps Down To Be Replaced By Adam Beauchamp

From Online Athens:

Creature Comforts recently announced during a company-wide staff meeting that CEO Chris Herron would be stepping down from his role and co-founder Adam Beauchamp would be elevated to chief executive from his previous position as COO.

Herron would remain at Creature Comforts in advisory role to ensure a smooth transition for Beauchamp, noted a news release.

The move came less than two months after the Athens-based craft brewery celebrated its 10-year anniversary. Herron had served as the CEO of Creature Comforts since Beauchamp and David Stein co-founded the company in 2014.

No specific reason was given for Herron's departure, but he was quoted in the news release as being "incredibly proud" of Creature Comforts' achievements over the past decade.
