Can you believe Memorial Day Weekend is almost here! It’s the official start of summer for Chuckanut Brewery and both locations are open all Memorial Day Weekend including Monday. The South Nut Tap Room in Skagit Valley will extend their hours starting May 24 and stay open til 8 pm (instead of 7 pm) giving fans another hour of hanging out in the Beer Garden. At P. Nut in Portland the Beer Hall will gain a permanent Food Truck dishing up Sonoran street food starting Memorial Day Weekend. Street Dogos food truck will start their service May 24 serving Fridays to Sundays to begin the summer. They’ll continue to extend open days as summer progresses. Now’s the time to enjoy some food and beer at P. Nut and the beer garden at South Nut.
Street Dogos serves tacos, taquitos, nachos, tortas and more. Their real specialty is the Sonoran Hot Dog which is a bacon wrapped hot dog with avocado sauce, diced tomatoes and grilled onions on a bun. Now that Chuckanut Brewery is brewing Mexican Style Lager on a consistent basis it’s the perfect accompaniment to any of the Street Dogos foods. In this corner of the SE Division neighborhood Street Dogos is one of the only food trucks with Mexican food, so take advantage of it. Please welcome Street Dogos to the hood and try something from their menu. They also package their food to go if you want to pick it up to take home to eat. And while you're there drop into P. Nut to pick up a 6-pack to take home to have with your dinner. P. Nut and South Nut are both stocked with lots of Chuckanut cans rarely available anywhere else, great to have at home, on the trail, on the water or at your next picnic. Cheers to a great summer!
