Chuckanut Collab West Coast Pils Released

From Chuckanut:

Chuckanut Brewery is celebrating spring with the release of the West Coast Pils. This is a collaboration between Chuckanut, the Seattle area Chuck’s Hop Shops and Bellingham’s Elizabeth Station. This new style of Pilsner is modeled after the West Coast IPA. Elizabeth & Chuck’s West Coast Pils is big and NW hoppy, but snappy and crushable like a lager. Dry hopped with Strata, Comet and Mosaic cryo hops gives the West Coast Pils vibrant notes of grapefruit  and lychee. It also has resinous undertones that swarm the palate with hops filling the mouth with fruity aromas. At 40 IBU’s and 5.9%ABV this is one of the hoppier beers from Chuckanut.

Serve the West Coast Pils in a traditional pilsner glass to get the full effect of its beauty and aromas. Great with a shrimp scampi or spicy Thai dish like Green Papaya Salad, you’ll be rewarded with a delicious combination of flavors. On draft at very limited accounts in the Seattle area and Bellingham (mostly all 3 Chuck’s Hop Shops and Elizabeth Station) as well as both P. Nut in Portland and South Nut in Burlington (Skagit Valley). While you’re out at the tulip fields for the Skagit Tulip Festival stop in for a pint and pick up some cans to go, you won’t be disappointed!

Chuckanut Brewery brews award winning Lagers and Ales and has won Large Brewery of the Year at WA Beer Awards 2017, 2019 and 2021 and Small Brewery at the GABF 2011. The production facility and Tap Room is in Skagit Valley at 11937 Higgins Airport Way, Burlington, WA. Chuckanut Brewery’s P. Nut Beer Hall is at 920 SE Caruthers St, Portland.  Both locations welcome guests of all ages and have indoor and outdoor seating!
