Sierra Nevada Releasing Celebration Fresh Hop 2023

Tastes like tradition

From ski lifts to stringing lights, the holidays commence in different ways. None of it matters until Celebration Fresh Hop IPA arrives, shimmering red like the gift of all gifts.

Launched in '81, Celebration uses only freshly picked hops, rushed from farm to brewery, for citrus, pine, and floral flavors at their most intense, all balanced by malty sweetness. It's become an icon over four decades, the IPA that signals: let the holidays begin.

Order Celebration for local delivery or use our Brew Finder to track it down.

Harvests change. Celebration stays the same.

Hop harvest is only once a year, and it's the magic inside Celebration. We travel to the Pacific Northwest to hand-select the best hops the moment they're picked.

Plenty has changed since the early '80s when we brought home 10 hop bales total for the entire brewery. (Each bale is 200 pounds.) Today, for just one release of Celebration IPA, we're loading 140 bales onto a truck.
