From Chuckanut:
Keller Night continues at the Chuckanut P. Nut Beer Hall the last Friday in August at 5 pm. Each Keller night includes beer straight from the cellar, unfiltered and packaged into small gravity kegs. These special kegs do not have CO2 injected into them but are tapped and fill glasses by gravity. Every month Chuckanut fills the gravity kegs with a different beer to offer the customer a new discovery in the world of beer. This month the gravity kegs will be filled with Fest Bier 2023 (filtered rendition will be released at the Oktoberfest Celebration September 9) and Bavarian IPA (BIPA is brewed with new world German hops).
Chuckanut Brewery’s Fest Bier won the 2019 Bronze GABF medal and emphasizes the use of Vienna malts for a smooth, quaffable fest beer. Fest Bier is light in color as currently brewed for Oktoberfest in Germany. The aroma and flavor are lightly sweet from the malt with a hint of Nobel hops to balance it out. This medium bodied lager finishes smooth and dry for a beer to enjoy in multiple quantities in liter mugs. The Bavarian IPA uses new world German hops in a moderate strength Pale Ale recipe. Late additions of the hops give this ale notes of white grape and berries making just the right amount of hop bitterness to end your tastebuds on a slightly bitter note. Great with spicy foods or a big plate of Nachos! Keller Nights at P. Nut will continue into the fall on the last Friday evening of every month starting at 5 pm.
Chuckanut Brewery brews award winning Lagers and Ales and has won Large Brewery of the Year at WA Beer Awards 2017, 2019 and 2021 and Small Brewery at the GABF 2011. The production facility and Tap Room is in Skagit Valley at 11937 Higgins Airport Way, Burlington, WA. Chuckanut Brewery’s P. Nut Beer Hall is at 920 SE Caruthers St, Portland. Both locations welcome guests of all ages and have indoor and outdoor seating! Check out additional information about Chuckanut at chuckanutbrewery.com.
