Pike Grainmaker Collaboration with Steeplejack coming in August

From Pike:

PIKE X STEEPLEJACK CREAM ALE

We're so excited to announce that we will be participating in the 2nd Grainmaker Fest put on by YaYa brewing in Spokane Valley on August 11! The Grainmaker Fest was created to showcase the agronomy of Eastern Washington by way of the grain and barley grown there. This year it is free to attend, and all ages are welcome! It will be a pay as you go experience, with tasting packages available including 4 pours and branded glassware to take home!
This year, 22 breweries will participate in the event with the added fun of festival organizers pairing up breweries so that all featured beers will be collaboration brews! Pike had the honor of being matched with our friends at
Steeplejack Brewing from Portland, OR. To quote our head brewer Leslie Shore, "Working with Steeplejack was a dream. Coming up with a beer was so much fun with them, we all decided that we wanted to make something fun for the hot summer days so we blended our house lager yeast along with their house kolsch yeast and used both a pilsner and a pale malt to create a delicious easy drinking Cream Ale."
The Pike X Steeplejack Cream Ale is slated to be ready by the beginning of August. If you aren't joining us out in Spokane Valley for the Grainmaker Fest, that's ok! You will still be able to catch this delicious summer sipper on tap at any of our three locations, as well as at Steeplejack Brewery in Portland!
