New Glarus Releasing New Glarus Pilsner

New Glarus Releasing New Glarus Pilsner

From New Glarus:

Today the New Glarus Brewing Company announced the release of New

Glarus Pilsner — a brand new seasonal beer.

For most of his brewing career, Brewmaster Dan Carey has been on a ceaseless quest to brew

the perfect pilsner. Throughout New Glarus Brewing’s history, Dan has been tweaking and

modifying his pilsner recipe so he could bring his vision for this iconic beer style to market

in Wisconsin. New Glarus Pilsner is that that vision.

Dan’s Holy Grail Pilsner starts with blurring the lines between old-school German and Czech

styles. This beer uses heirloom pilsner malted barley and a double decoction mash to build an

artful base on which Bavarian Diamant, Mittlefruh, Saphir, Select and Hallertau Blanc hops

create a complex and easy bitterness coming in a 35 IBU. This beer then went through a six-

week lagering before being packaged and shipped statewide.

New Glarus Pilsner should be showing up in the market the week of April 24th. To find the

closest location currently stocking New Glarus Pilsner please use the Beer Finder on the New

Glarus Brewing website at https://newglarusbrewing.com/pages/beerfinder.

New Glarus Pilsner is a spring/summer seasonal, and like all New Glarus seasonal beers is

available for a limited time and designed to match the season. New Glarus Pilsner is

available in six pack bottles, 12-pack cans, and on draft. Enjoy this career-long quest

available only in Wisconsin.

Employee-owned, New Glarus Brewing Company is located in Green County Wisconsin and

has been crafting World Class brews for their friends in Wisconsin since 1993
