Anderson Valley Brewing Phases Out Glass Bottles

Anderson Valley Brewing Officially Phased Out Glass Bottles

From Anderson Valley Brewing:

Goodbye glass! In our efforts to lead the industry in responsible brewing practices and environmental sustainability, we've officially phased out glass bottles in favor of aluminum cans. Why cans? Aluminum is endlessly recyclable, and recycling a can uses 90% less energy than recycling a glass bottle. Cans are also lighter and require less fuel and energy to transport, keep beer fresher by blocking all UV light, are more transportable for your adventures, and form a more airtight seal than glass. Thank you for encouraging our behavior.      zzubreebym
