There are literally two beers that I actively chase after every year and yes I buy more than my fair share. There’s also a classic IPA that is not only one of my favorites, but it manages to find it’s way into my cooler and ‘fridge more than almost every other IPA. Those two beers are Hopslam and Two Hearted Ale, and of course they come to us from one of my favorites, Bell’s Brewery.
I not only go WAY back with Bell’s Brewery (well before Hopslam) and I’m excited to say I’ve interviewed Larry Bell several times on our radio show, even convincing him to recite a line from a Midsummer Night’s Dream in his 9th grade play.
So as you can see, Bell’s Brewery will always hold a fond place in my beer-heart. With that in mind, I was more than a bit excited to get a care package at mybeerbuzz headquarters from Bell’s Brewery.
Today we’re sampling one of my summer favorite’s from Bell’s Brewery, 2022 Oberon. This summer classic beer has become not only a favorite beach beer for me, but also a favorite summer beer overall. The combination of flavors and drinkability, make this a beer I think everyone should try. Naturally I can’t wait to enjoy it, so off we go…
