Bentonville Brewing Co. to Collaborate on Annual 'Hops for Heroes' Campaign

Craft beer fundraiser will support relief efforts of nonprofit Soldiers’ Angels

SAN ANTONIO, TX  (July 12, 2022) — Northwest Arkansas brewery Bentonville Brewing Co. today announced it will support the national nonprofit Soldiers’ Angels through the “Hops for Heroes” campaign. The annual campaign invites craft breweries of all sizes to brew a custom recipe, Homefront IPA™, which Bentonville Brewing Co. plans to tap on Veterans Day, Nov. 11. All proceeds will be donated to Soldiers' Angels to support its programs benefitting U.S. service members, veterans and their families.

The announcement marks the 14th craft beer company to collaborate on this year’s Hops for Heroes campaign, which helps fund Soldiers’ Angels’ national and international support programs. Other breweries participating in this year's program include Founders Brewing Co. (Grand Rapids and Detroit, Mich.), Center of the Universe Brewing (Ashland, Va.), Left Hand Brewing (Longmont, Colo.), Karbach Brewing (Houston, Texas), and Brewery Ommegang (Cooperstown, N.Y.).

“We’re thrilled to welcome Bentonville Brewing Co. to the Hops for Heroes campaign to raise funds for those who have sacrificed for our country,” said Soldiers’ Angels President & CEO Amy Palmer. “Through the generous support and donations from craft breweries across the country, Soldiers’ Angels will be providing vital resources to support our veterans, our service men and women deployed throughout the world, and their families back home."

“We are very excited about this beer!," said Bentonville Brewing Co. COO Katie Boykin. "We have several veteran members of our staff in various departments who are going to be pitching in on the brew day and feel very close to this project.”

Soldiers’ Angels is a national nonprofit headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, founded in 2003 by the family of General George Patton. Through its global network of volunteers, it fulfills its mission of providing aid, comfort and resources through a variety of ways — from shipping care packages to deployed service members to providing food assistance to low-income and homeless veterans, and more. In 2021, the organization provided assistance to more than 982,000 service members, veterans, wounded heroes and their families.
