Mybeerbuzz .com Highlights Indeed Brewing Giant For A Day (Review)

I’m always excited to see what Indeed Brewing will brew next…and while I love their creative fruit, sour and honey-based beers, I really like their IPA’s. And if the IPA’s are good, you know their double IPA’s are even better.

With that in mind, I was excited to get a chance to try their new Giant For a Day DIPA. This limited release beer will be available in MN, ND and WI beginning this month and it was inspired by some of my favorite DIPAs like Hopslam, Enjoy By, Abrasive and Pliny. This west coast-style DIPA feels like it’s right up my alley, and of course I can’t wait to try it…so off we go.

Indeed Brewing Company Releases Giant for a Day Double IPA

Indeed Brewing Giant For A Day

ABV:  9%
Style:  DIPA
IBU: 60
Packaging:  12oz cans
Appearance:  Hazy copper golden
Aroma:   Citrus, resinous pine & grapefruit
Mouthfeel:   Medium, dry & boozy
Taste:   Citrus with an earthy resinous and boozy finish
Overall: Giant For A Day feels, smells, looks and tastes like an instant DIPA classic. With Simcoe hops in the brew and Idaho 7 and Lotus in the dry-hop, the complexity and depth of the beer is very good. Overall the beer is bright and drinkable and at 9%-AbV, this beer will sneak up on you…but in a good way. To be clear, I really like Indeed Brewing Giant For A Day and I can’t wait to have another.

Be sure to try out Indeed Giant For A Day DIPA for yourself and see if you taste the classic inspiration beers. This beer has a lot to offer and I think we’ll see this become not only my favorite Indeed beer, but also a very popular seasonal or year-round release. As always, when you do try it, be sure to let us know what YOU think.
