Schlafly Beer Releases Patio Pack with Two New Sampler Pack Beers

From Schlafly:

The 12-pack sampler returns with a new line-up of beer offerings to include Hoppy Lager, Raspberry Hefeweizen, Bankside Lager and Pale Ale

ST. LOUIS, MO  (June 22, 2021)—Schlafly Beer, the original, independent craft brewery in St. Louis, announces the release of the seasonal summer sampler, Patio Pack. The 12-pack offers four varying styles to appeal to casual craft drinkers and beer connoisseurs for every beer drinking occasion during the warm summer months. The variety pack includes Hoppy Lager, the newest addition to Schlafly’s year-round line-up; Raspberry Hefeweizen, a sessionable fruited wheat ale; Bankside Lager, a new classic on the scene that appeals to the masses; and Schlafly’s flagship beer, Pale Ale. Schlafly’s Patio Pack is available now across the Schlafly distribution.

“While we’re just entering the first ‘true’ days of summer, the weather has already been extremely hot. Beer drinkers need light and refreshing beers to enjoy this time of year, and that’s why our Patio Pack has been an anticipated annual release for years,” says Schlafly Founding Brewer Stephen Hale. “Each year, we release sessionable styles for beer connoisseurs and casual craft drinkers alike – which makes it the perfect patio party pal because there’s a beer here for everyone to enjoy. For instance, if you prefer hop-forward beers, the new Hoppy Lager packs a punch from a brewing method known as Hop Bursting, and it’s one that you’ll want to try. On the other hand, Raspberry Hefeweizen is a fabulous beer for the fruit-forward crowd.”

The Summer Patio Pack features three bottles for each of the four styles showcased, including:

  • Hoppy Lager (5.5% ABV): A refreshingly powerful beer that utilizes hop bursting to deliver the flavor of an IPA coupled with the clean finish of a lager.
  • Raspberry Hefeweizen (4.1% ABV): A true fruit beer fermented with real raspberries for a flavor that’s tart, low in bitterness and full of citrus aromas.
  • Bankside Lager (5% ABV): This easy-going, classic American lager is light, drinkable, refreshing and a nod to St. Louis’s beer history. Bankside Lager was brewed to commemorate Schlafly’s third brewpub, Schlafly Bankside Brewpub.
  • Pale Ale (4.4% ABV): As Schlafly’s flagship beer, this English-style beer is a mild session ale with a refined balance of hops and malt. An approachable classic, especially for summertime sipping.
