This 8 Aug 2021 update from Samuel Adams. This beer will NOT be released:

Just like experimenting with new ingredients, profiles or flavors to brew a delicious beer or whiskey, the creative process can lead masters of craft in new directions. The teams at Samuel Adams and Jack Daniel’s have made the mutual decision to not release the Octoberfest Sixty collaboration this year.

Be-leaf it or not, Jack-o is back-o! On shelves now is the #1 fall seasonal, Samuel Adams OctoberFest (+6% in 20201) and Jack-O, a top 10 seasonal in 20201. These two well-loved beers signal sweater weather is near, and we’re marking the return of festival season in a big way by proclaiming it’s OK-TO-BEER-FEST.

In the spirit of celebrating beer with beer, Samuel Adams is bringing drinkers one sip closer to Oktoberfest with a nationwide search for the “Golden Bottle.” Specially marked packages of Samuel Adams OctoberFest 12-pack bottles will serve as a passport to Munich with the chance to win one of five trips for four to Oktoberfest 2022  if Das Golden Bottle is inside. Drinkers everywhere will have even more ways to sip, play and win on- and off-premise (and online) this fall. Visit www.octoberfestsamadams.com to track the Golden Bottles.
