Two Hearted Best Beer, Bell's Best Brewery in America for 4th Year in a Row

From Bell's Brewery:

COMSTOCK, MI  – Bell’s Two Hearted Ale is the Best Beer in America. Again. Bell’s Brewery is the Best Brewery in America. Again.

For the fourth year in a row, Bell’s Brewery brought home top honors in the 2020 Best Beers in America survey conducted by Zymurgy magazine, a publication of the American Homebrewers Association (AHA).

Bell’s Hopslam Ale again joined Two Hearted on Zymurgy’s Top Ranked Beers List at No. 5.

“Being honored with this again, is beyond words. With the year we’ve all had, this is a huge win we can all celebrate. To my staff, to our partners, to the homebrewers, to everyone who celebrates this beer; thank you from the bottom of my heart,” said Larry Bell, president and founder of Bell’s Brewery.

Now running in its 18th year, the survey asks members to choose their favorite commercial beers available for purchase in the U.S.

Two Hearted previously came in second to Russian River’s Pliny the Elder for seven straight years before claiming the top spot in 2017. Bell’s was the only brewery to have more than one beer in the Top 10.

The top 10 results from this year’s Zymurgy survey are available at HomebrewersAssociation.org. The complete list will be published in the November/December 2020 print issue of Zymurgy.

The American Homebrewers Association has worked on behalf of the homebrewing community since 1978 and celebrates a membership of more than 40,000 homebrewers.

The Bell’s General Store has been supporting homebrewers in Kalamazoo and beyond since 1983 and predates the brewery. Larry Bell founded the company originally as a homebrew supply store.

Clone recipes and kits for Two Hearted and other Bell’s beers, along with homebrewing ingredients, supplies and equipment, can be found by visiting the Bell’s General Store in person (355 E. Kalamazoo Ave. in downtown Kalamazoo) or online at bellsbeer.com.

Two Hearted is available to purchase in cans, bottles and on draft at a variety of locations across Bell’s 42 state distribution footprint, in addition to Puerto Rico and Washington DC.
