New Realm Brewing Releases 2020 version of Oaxaca Choca

From New Realm:

ATLANTA, GA  & VIRGINIA BEACH, VA – October 6th , 2020 Oaxaca Choca (pronounced: WAHA- KA CHA-KA) is New Realm’s Imperial Mexican Chocolate Stout brewed with vanilla, cinnamon, chili peppers & locally roasted cacao nibs from their friends at Xocolatl Small Batch Chocolate. This ridiculously tasty winter warmer sips like a cup of Mexican hot cocoa with just enough spice to balance the sweet.

“Our brewing team nails this beer every year. The combination of a great Imperial Stout recipe, locally sourced cacao nibs, cinnamon, vanilla and chilies give this beer a wonderfully complex flavor. It’s one of our favorite releases all year long, and it’s also great as a cellar beer with a bit of age on it – perfect for vertical tastings!” said Mitch Steele, Brewmaster and Co- Founder of New Realm Brewing.

“We’re excited to present Oaxaca Choca - back for its 2020 release. This is Oaxaca’s third anniversary in celebration of the winter season but timed to celebrate Halloween and Día de los Muertos with its beautifully themed label artwork. Oaxaca is one of our most highly anticipated yearly releases that will continue to be a hard-to-find brand.  We’re only releasing a small amount of 16oz 4pk cans and draft in limited distribution with independent package retailers in Georgia and Virginia, and most of that volume is already pre- sold. Oh, and if you’re one of the many who awaits this yearly release, stay tuned for a barrel- aged version later this fall,” said Bob Powers, Co-Founder and Chief Sales Marketing Officer of New Realm Brewing.

About New Realm Brewing:
New Realm Brewing Company is an American craft brewery started in 2016 by co-founders Carey Falcone, Bob Powers and Mitch Steele. On a mission to rethink tradition and bend the rules, the team planted their first production facility in a 20,000-square foot space on Atlanta’s east side Beltline trail in December of 2017, featuring a 25hl brewhouse, 3,000-square foot restaurant, rooftop patio and beer garden. A second location opened in Virginia Beach in the middle of 2018 enabling New Realm to increase their ability to innovate and create new beers. The Virginia Beach location is a 58,000-square foot space with a 50bbl brewhouse. Like Atlanta, the second location features a large outdoor beer garden, private event space and restaurant. New Realm’s core principles are quality, creativity, authenticity, and striving for perfection, all with a customer-centric commitment and approach. New Realm’s awards include: Brewbound’s “Rising Star” brewery, Ratebeer’s “Best New Brewer in Georgia,” Ratebeer’s 11th “Best New Brewer in the World”, and Virginia Craft Beer Cup’s gold medal and “Best in Show” for Euphonia Pilsner. Brewmaster Mitch Steele was awarded the Russell Scherer Award for Innovation in Brewing and co-authored the book IPA: Brewing Techniques, Recipes and the Evolution of India Pale Ale.
