Here’s a new can coming from Jester King. This is Dry-Hopped Oat Ale Fermented With Desert Yeast and it will be just that. The beer will drift in at 6.4%-AbV and you’re looking at the 16oz can. Full details can be found here. I’ve also added in Black Is Beautiful (9.4%-AbV, 16oz cans) and the latest packaging for Space Waves blended farmhouse ale with lime salt and refermented with cherries brewed in collaboration with Jolly Pumpkin (750ml, 6.2%-AbV).image

This 2 Aug 2020 update from Jester King:

We're pleased and honored to announce the release of Jester King Black is Beautiful tomorrow at Noon! Black is Beautiful is part of a world-wide collaboration created by Weathered Souls Brewing Co. in San Antonio, Texas to support justice and equality for people of color.

100% of the proceeds from Jester King Black is Beautiful go toward the cause. Last month, we pre-donated $25,000 to the NAACP, Austin Justice Coalition, and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.

For our version of Black is Beautiful, we melded our love of fruit refermentation and imperial stout to create a dry-hopped imperial stout with mangoes and oranges. We refermented the fruit to dryness, then dry-hopped with El Dorado. Black is Beautiful was fermented with a pure culture of yeast in stainless steel. 9.4% ABV.

Jester King Black is Beautiful will be released this Tuesday, August 4th at Noon. It will be available by the glass and in four packs of 16 ounce cans. We have about a 1,000 four packs available ($24) with a limit of 2 four packs per person per day. Order online for curbside pickup 7 days a week from 12-8pm (https://www.toasttab.com/jesterkingbrewery/v3). Proxies are welcome (please designate when ordering online). Black is Beautiful will also be available by the glass for our onsite guests starting this Wednesday. Please make a reservation to come visit us at our beautiful outdoor space in the Texas Hill Country (https://www.exploretock.com/jesterkingbrewery).

We'd like to thank Weathered Souls and Marcus J. Baskerville for creating this world-wide initiative to promote justice and equality for people of color. We're honored to be of the collaboration and grateful to Marcus for his courage, strength, and poise in making it a resounding success!
