We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with Weathered Souls Brewing Co. on their “Black is Beautiful” campaign to help raise awareness and funds for police brutality reform and legal defense funds for those who have been wronged by these injustices. We’ve created a special stout for this campaign – introducing:
“Black is Beautiful” Peanut Butter Fudge Stout!
In partnership with Weathered Souls Brewing’s “Black is Beautiful” campaign, we’re proud to bring you Peanut Butter Fudge Stout. Chocolate malts, roasted barley and Golden Naked oats mingle with Nugget and Perle hops as semi-sweet chocolate and hints of roasted peanut team up to create a smooth, yet not overly sweet, experience – a peanut butter cup in a glass. 6.8% ABV.
The Black is Beautiful initiative provides a platform to show that the brewing community is an inclusive place for everyone of any color. All participants were asked to:
- Donate to local foundations that support police brutality reform and legal defenses for those who have been wronged
- Donate to local organizations that support equality and inclusion
- Commit to the long-term work of equality. As part of our continued efforts to strive for inclusivity and racial equality, we have elected to donate $25,000 to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund from our corporate giving platform, The Big Pitcher.
Beginning July 24, Peanut Butter Fudge Stout will be available in 6-pack bottles and on draft exclusively in the Grand Rapids and Detroit taprooms.
