From Anheuser-Busch & Stella Artois:
Featuring local chefs, culinary stars and celebrity connoisseurs, new virtual content series brings restaurant-quality dishes and experiences home to #HelpKeepRestaurantsCooking
New York, NY – April 8, 2020 – Stella Artois is famous for encouraging people to savor time with the people who matter most, quite often over delicious food and drinks at restaurants and bars across the country. Since it is not currently possible to dine and drink out during the ongoing health crisis, Stella is supporting industry relief efforts with The James Beard Foundation and HelpMainStreet.com while bringing the restaurant experience and good food into homes across the country.
Today, Stella Artois is unveiling Stella Sessions@Home, a virtual platform on the brand’s Instagram page where local chefs, culinary stars and celebrity foodies help home cooks prepare restaurant-level dishes and experiences with loved ones around the table while staying home. Tune in Tuesdays through Fridays for new episodes:
- Top Chefs and Famous Foodies: Coming to IGTV on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Stella Sessions@Home teams up with Eva Longoria, Marcus Samuelsson and more for in-home cooking classes and information on how to support your favorite local spots during this crisis.
- Tips & Tricks From Local Chefs: Every Wednesday, chefs from the James Beard Foundation and Infatuation Community will share tips and tricks for how to bring restaurant quality dishes to your kitchen.
- Virtual Happy Hour with Karla Welch: Each Friday on her Instagram Live, celebrity stylist and xKarla founder, Karla Welch will close out the work week with surprise guest appearances around the virtual table to get people into the TGIF spirit at home.
The restaurant and bar industry is at the heart of Stella’s identity; to support the community who would normally be providing the delicious meals and atmosphere where Stella fans savor life together, the brand is donating to the James Beard Foundation to provide immediate and longer-term relief efforts.
While Stella is helping fund the James Beard Foundation to provide relief for restaurants and bars across the country, everyone can participate in Tables for Tomorrow, a movement by HelpMainStreet.com to help people purchase gift cards and provide needed cash to favorite neighborhood spots.
“The heart and soul of Stella Artois is savoring life with loved ones over food in restaurants, and right now, that community needs help,” said Lara Krug, VP of Marketing, Stella Artois. “With Stella Sessions@Home, we are bringing chefs and consumers together in a different way to provide industry support and delicious meals until we can all meet again over food and drinks out in the world.”

The James Beard Foundation
The James Beard Foundation's mission is to promote Good Food for Good™. For more than 30 years, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization has highlighted the centrality of food culture in our daily lives. Through the James Beard Awards, unique dining experiences at the James Beard House and around the country, scholarships, hands-on learning, and a variety of industry programs that educate and empower leaders in our community, the Foundation has built a platform for chefs and asserted the power of gastronomy to drive behavior, culture, and policy change around food. To that end, the Foundation has also created signature impact-oriented initiatives that include our Women’s Leadership Programs, aimed at addressing the gender imbalance in the culinary industry; advocacy training through our Chefs Boot Camp for Policy and Change; and the James Beard Foundation Leadership Awards, which shine a spotlight on successful change makers. The organization is committed to giving chefs and their colleagues a voice and the tools they need to make the world more sustainable, equitable, and delicious for everyone.
