Rare indeed, this bird only makes its appearance less than once a year. For the first time, we've used Westland Whiskey single-malt barrels to age our award-winning Imperial Stout to create our 2020 vintage of Great Grandfather Raven. This robust black ale is full with notes of rich dark caramel, unsweetened chocolate, and hints of coffee all mellowed out with smooth oak and top-shelf whiskey.

Folklore and mythology present the raven as an omniscient creature with special powers and abilities. The Wisdom Seeker Double IPA gets its special powers from an enormous amount of hops and malted barley. Brewed in the West coast Double IPA style, this bold brew features massive citrus and herbal hop additions and a full hop aroma. Seek your wisdom cautiously; this hop feast packs a punch.
Released annually in the Spring, this year we are also timing the release to match up with our annual Open House in our Woodinville location!

Grandfather Raven Imperial Stout is a robust black ale with bold notes of rich dark caramel, unsweetened chocolate, and hints of coffee. Stately indeed, but at 9.5% ABV, perhaps it is just a vain attempt to encourage the trickster spirit to act respectably. Grandfather Raven is released annually in the winter and limited quantities are available.
