This morning I bring you a new bottle coming from Allagash Brewing in Portland, ME. This is Fox Leap and it will be a blended sour cherry ale with one part aged for 12-months in Bourbon barrels and one part aged in stainless for 18-months. After the beers are blended, the resulting beer is aged on 3,2250-pounds of local Balaton cherries for an additional 4-months before being packaged in 12.7oz bottles. The resulting beer will hit 5.5%-AbV and stay tuned here for full release details.
