Tröegs Releasing Splinter Bronze & Scratch #396 Dry-Hopped Pale Ale

Tröegs Releasing Splinter Bronze & Scratch #396 Dry-Hopped Pale AleFrom Tröegs:

Is Bronze Friday a thing? It is now. Tomorrow morning, we're releasing a brand new limited #SplinterBeer on draft. Splinter Bronze is a Belgian-style double that is typically the launching point for a fruited sour. But in this case, the journey is the destination. Fermented with our house culture of wild yeast and bacteria, it's at once slightly tart and sweet. With notes of caramelized sugar, toasted marshmallow and graham cracker, Splinter Bronze is like a perfectly charred toffee s’more with a sprinkle of brown sugar. And of course, Black Friday means our annual release of Bourbon Barrel-Aged Impending Descent. A year in bourbon barrels has smoothed the sharp edges, and armfuls of chocolate, vanilla and raw cane sugar make it a velvety, chocolatey meal.Tröegs Releasing Splinter Bronze & Scratch #396 Dry-Hopped Pale Ale

We're starting to fine-tune an aromatic hop combination that we're planning to use for something special down the road. This Scratch pale ale showcases Citra, Idaho 7, Chinook and Azacca. Look for notes of passionfruit, orange, grapefruit and subtle white pine. London yeast will keep the beer dry and allow subtle malt and nut notes to come forward. We taste: passionfruit, citrus rind and white pine. A limited amount of 16-oz. cans and draft releases today, only at the brewery.
