Scratch Brewing & Jester King Collaborate On Bière De Pêche

This morning we bring you a new collaboration beer coming from Scratch Brewing in Ava, IL.  This is Bière De Pêche and it will be a collaboration with Austin, TX’s Jester King.  The beer will be an ale brewed with peach leaves, juniper, and lemon balm (from Jester King’s property) as well as lavendar, laurel and clover (from the woods around Scratch Brewing).  The beer was mashed in oak puncheons, brewed over a wood fire and fermented with Scratch’s wild house yeast culture before being conditioned for nearly a year in 750ml bottles.  Bière De Pêche will hit 8.8%-AbV and stay tuned for full release info.
