Every so often I stumble upon new packaging that makes me worry a bit…and here’s one I suspect will ultimately get pulled, even though it has been approved. This beverage is approved as a malt-based beverage but it’s basically an FMB sparkling water. They come from United Brands in La Crosse, WI via Swirl Beverage and today we have Unicorn Swirl (8%-AbV 23.5oz cans, zero sugar) and Cotton Candy Swirl (8%-AbV 23.5oz cans, zero sugar). While I guess you may be able to argue that the Iced Cake Swirl and Salted Caramel Swirl flavors may be marketed toward adults, Unicorn Swirl and Cotton Candy Swirl seem to be aimed a bit lower. Stay tuned on this one as I do plan to follow up.
