New Realm Releasing Three New Cans In VA Beach

From New Realm:

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA  – January 28, 2019 – New Realm Brewing will release three of their core beers this week. Euphonia Pilsner, as well as Hoplandia and Hoptropolis IPAs will be available to the market in 12 oz. aluminum cans beginning Monday, January 28th. Craft lovers will be able to pick some up at the brewery, as well as locations throughout the Southside of Hampton Roads.

“This is a super exciting time for us at New Realm Brewing. Not only has it been a great experience opening our facility in Virginia Beach but now to be releasing our Pilsner and IPAs to market in cans, it’s just so cool,” said Bob Powers, CCO and co-founder of New Realm Brewing.”

Euphonia Pilsner is a true brewer’s beer. Rocking a hallmark blend of smooth floral hops and classic German malts, this beer masters the desired sessionable balance of crisp refreshment and floral hop flavor.

A thriving hop mecca, Hoptropolis is built upon a foundation of Citra, Mosaic, Loral and Azacca hops. An American IPA with tropical fruit, floral, citrus and stone fruit aromatics, this beer pours a striking golden color with a light haze.

Hoplandia is budding with sought-after hops and a heavenly hit of citrus and peach. This IPA is something sublimely different and now in cans, more Virginians will be able to experience Hoplandia for themselves.

For those not wanting to wait for these beers to hit stores, they are currently available on draft and in package at the brewery.

About New Realm Brewing:
New Realm Brewing Company is an American craft brewery started in 2016 by co-founders Carey Falcone, Bob Powers and Mitch Steele. On a mission to rethink tradition and bend the rules, the team planted their first production facility in a 20,000-square foot space on Atlanta’s
east side Beltline trail in December of 2017, featuring a 25hl brewhouse, 3,000 square foot restaurant, rooftop patio and beer garden. A second location opened in Virginia Beach mid-2018
enabling New Realm to increase their ability to innovate and create new beers.  The Virginia Beach location is a 58,000-square foot space providing an additional 40,000 barrels of annual capacity. Like Atlanta, the second location features a large outdoor beer garden, private event space and a tasting room. Brewmaster Mitch Steele received the Russell Scherer Award for Innovation in Brewing in 2014 and co-authored the book IPA: Brewing Techniques, Recipes and
the Evolution of India Pale Ale in 2012. In 2018 New Realm Brewing was honored with the “Rising Star” award by Brewboud magazine and in January of 2019 the brewery was awarded “Best New Brewer in Georgia for 2018 as well as the 11th “Best New Brewer in the World” by Ratebeer. New Realm Brewing’s core principles are quality, creativity, authenticity, and striving for perfection, all with a customer-centric commitment and approach.

New Realm Brewing Named 11th Best New Brewery in the World

The Atlanta based brewery opened in December 2017, producing award winning beers in the city with Brewmaster Mitch Steele and head brewer Tyler Downey.   Their German pilsner, Euphonia, and hoppy IPA varieties such as Hoptropolis and Hoplandia have won over fans throughout Georgia and Virginia. Their early successes earned attention from Brewbound in December, as they were announced as one of 5 “rising stars” throughout the U.S. who are players to watch in the coming years.  Now the beer review website, RateBeer, has named New Realm one of the 15 best new breweries in the world.  Among the many new craft breweries opening in rapid succession across the US and the world, few have garnered awards as quickly as New Realm Brewing in Atlanta.
“Considering the many thousands of new brewers world wide [sic] … these fifteen are an extremely elite bunch of the freshman class,” RateBeer wrote in their announcement.

The list, which features New Realm in the number 11 spot, includes breweries such as 3 Sons Brewing Company from Dania Beach, Florida and Resident Culture from Charlotte, North Carolina. RateBeer also published a list of Top New Brewers by state, naming New Realm as the best in Georgia.
Mitch Steele, Brewmaster and co-founder said, “To have even been considered for such a high honor is a testament to the long hours, days and weeks that our team put in during our first year. From our incredibly talented brewing team, to our taproom team and everyone between, we are so proud and humbled.”

“Above and beyond all of that, we owe a debt of gratitude to our amazing fans in Georgia and Virginia who have embraced our beer and our people. Their support and feedback are critical in making us the brewery that we are today, and for that, we can't thank them enough.” Said Carey Falcone, CEO and co-founder.
