Inco Beverage Acquires Greensburg Beverage

JOHNSTOWN, PA - The family owners of Inco Beverage are pleased to announce the acquisition of another outstanding family-owned beer wholesaler, Greensburg Beverage of Greensburg, PA.
Effective Monday, January 28, Inco Beverage will begin delivering products to Greensburg Beverage’s customers in Westmoreland, Fayette, Allegheny, and Washington counties.“The purchase of Greensburg Beverage by Inco Beverage will result in our being able to deliver more than three million cases of beer annually to nearly two thousand customers,” said Joe DeMarco, CEO of Inco Beverage.

Inco Beverage will continue to operate as an importing beer distributor (ID) in two locations: the company’s current warehouse in Johnstown, and the current Greensburg Beverage facility. Thirty-eight members of the Greensburg Beverage employee team will be joining the dedicated staff at Inco Beverage.

The two branches of Inco’s business will be referred to as Inco-Johnstown, and Inco-Greensburg.Greensburg Beverage’s portfolio of beer and other malt beverage products will become part of Inco’s solid portfolio. This will include all the Miller brands such as Miller Lite and Leinenkugels; the Heineken family of brands, including Heineken and Heineken Light, Amstel Light, Dos Equis, and Tecate; and the Labatt’s brands, as well as several smaller craft beer brands.
Inco Beverage’s footprint will now encompass ten counties, including Cambria, Somerset, Bedford, Indiana, Blair, Clearfield, Westmoreland, Fayette, Allegheny, and Washington counties.Prior to its acquisition of Greensburg Beverage, Inco Beverage’s portfolio of brands included MillerCoors, Corona, Sam Adams, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Genesee, Seagram’s Escapes, Straub, Lancaster Brewing, Fatheads, Ballast Point, and Terrapin.

Inco Beverage was founded in 1934 by Joseph and Amelia Incardona, and is still owned by two branches of the founders’ family, the Rizzos and the Incardonas.Greensburg Beverage was founded in 1949 by James and Josephine Iannuzzo. Their grandson, David Iannuzzo, will remain on board as general manager of Inco-Greensburg and director of operations of the combined companies.The acquisition was handled by the law firm of Leventry, Haschak & Rodkey, LLC of Johnstown, with financing provided by First National Bank of Pennsylvania.
