As 2018 draws to a close, we've got one more killer lineup of special release beers to bequeath upon the general population before the new year. Outrageously tasty IPAs & DIPAs, super-fruited funk-magic, delightfully decadent imperial dessert stouts, and collaborative brew-sorcery will all be available, and are all incredibly effective ways of instantly boosting holiday cheer. Some of these beers are crazy-limited, so make sure you get in early if you want your fill.

COMFORT ZONE IPA (COLLAB W/ CELLARMAKER BREWING COMPANY)
This exceptionally hazy IPA is an amalgam of tropical, citrusy wonderment due to an over-the-top dosing of Simcoe, Mosaic, Nelson, Motueka, & Strata hops. It's a murklord of the highest order, and we're pretty damn excited for you to try it.

TOTALLY OPEN IN ENCINITAS DIPA
A liquid homage to the kickoff of our North County party palace, this 8% DIPA is loaded with irresponsible amounts of Citra, Nelson, & Amarillo hops. It's a citrusy, tropical delight, and it's as easy on the palate as its inconceivably dope can is on the eyes.

RAMPART JUNCTION
For the newest iteration of Rampart Junction, we added a hefty helping of fresh peaches to a blend of our red wine barrel-aged dark sour beers. Fermentation began with our house Lomaland yeast culture, but the robust sourness and heavy funk is the result of a secondary mixed fermentation featuring a plethora of Saccharomyces, Brettanomyces, and Lactobacillus strains. The resulting beer is powerfully fruity, incredibly complex, and bursting with peach flavor and aroma. This massively righteous beer took well over a year to make, and it will continue to age beautifully in the bottle for years to come.

TRANSIT OF VENUS (2018)
This sensationally tasty grisette-a sessionable relative to the saison, originally hailing from Belgium's Hainaut province-was brought to delicious fruition via a rye-forward malt bill and a Brett-heavy amalgam of our house microflora. The resulting beer is delightfully refreshing and intriguingly complex, with a profile that's rustic, spicy, and peppered with notes of hay and pastoral funk that rest lightly on a crisp, lemony acidity. Its modest ABV belies the window-rattling mouth party contained within. Brace yourself.

Important notes regarding the canned special releases Totally Open In Encinitas DIPA & Comfort Zone IPA:
- While the rest of the sale has the standard 2-month pick-up window (ending 2/12/2019), the pick-up window for Totally Open In Encinitas and Comfort Zone is 30 days only. That means that the last day to pick these up is on 1/13. No exceptions.
The first day to pick-up bottles and cans will be 12/12 in San Diego, Los Angeles, & Encinitas, and 12/14 in Portland. We'll be hosting release parties at all locations on their respective first days for pick-up. We'll have a bunch of special beers on tap, and there will be no shortage of good vibes, so that'd be a pretty ideal time to grab your beers.
The sales closes on Monday at 10AM, so make sure you get your fill before it does. The sale will go live on Saturday at 10AM HERE.
