Today we have an exciting new can coming from Smuttynose Brewing in Hampton, NH. This is Whole Lotta Lupulin and it is a double IPA with a name I suspect you won’t be able to pronounce after you drink one. This beer will slide in at 8.1%-AbV and you’re looking at the 16oz can. Stay tuned for release info.
22 Oct 2018 Update from Smuttynose:
We're releasing two new year-round IPAs, Whole Lotta Lupulin, a smooth-drinking Double IPA, and Mysterious Haze, a medium-bodied double dry-hopped New England IPA. Come and get it in our retail store starting...NOW!
Whole Lotta Lupulin, a Double IPA with an ABV of 8.6%, is a balanced brew that features a combination of complimentary hops including Amarillo, Citra, Centennial, and NZ Motueka. The bitterness of the hops is anchored by a sturdy malt foundation made of 2-Row Malted Barley, Wheat Malt, CaraHell, and Cara Malt. Each sip of this beer bursts with grapefruit and guava notes which fuse nicely with a floral and resinous pine aroma.
