Mybeerbuzz .com Highlights Monday Night Brewing Dusty Bunny

Mybeerbuzz .com Highlights Monday Night Brewing Dusty BunnyBefore I even finish this first sentence, I have to say that I love the name of this beer.  If the beer name wasn’t a term your mom used to get you to clean up your room, then I’d be really surprised…because mine did.

Today we’re sampling Dust Bunny from Monday Night Brewing in Atlanta, GA, and if you’re not familiar, this beer is a returning favorite that is named for it’s “fuzzy fluffy characteristics.”  Dust Bunny was one of Monday Night Brewing’s most requested beers, so I’m not the only one excited to see it come back.  The beer is brewed with Flaked Wheat, 2-row, Munich and Carapils malt as well as Ekuanot, Comet, Citra and Mandarina Bavaria hops…and I can’t wait any longer to try it…so off we go.

Dust Bunny pours a bright and hazy amber color and we found all sorts of pleasant hoppy aromas coming from the beer as we poured it.  Lemon and orange are prominent, but there’s a grapefruit note we liked and a really jammy presence before we even took a taste.  The first sip hits you with orange and grapefruit and the mouthfeel and body is soft a bit creamy and yes I’d agree that the beer feels “fluffy.”  I really liked the peach and apricot flavors and there’s also a bit of dank floral flavor at the end (this is a good thing).  The balance of Dust Bunny is nice and the beer is very drinkable.Monday Night Brewing - Dust Bunny Returns 8/20

After tasting my way through this 12oz can of Dust Bunny, I can see why this beer is a “most requested” Monday Night beer.  The beer hits 6.8%-AbV and a hoppy 68 IBU so I found it really satisfying and a bit sneaky (again all good things).  Overall Dust Bunny is a flavorful IPA with an interesting hop complexity, some bright fresh fruit/jam flavors and a satisfying mouthfeel.  We really enjoyed sampling Dust Bunny in the Monday Night Brewing pint glass (see photo above), and I only regret not sampling the beer on an actual Monday night.

Monday Night Brewing Dust Bunny is available now in 12oz canned six-packs and kegs at the brewery as well as in distribution throughout GA, AL, and TN beginning 8/20.  Be sure to get your hands on this beer (and clean up your room before mom notices).  When you do try it, be sure to let us know what YOU think.
