Rehoboth Beach, DE – Beach Nomad Brewing has become the first Delaware brewery to focus on brewing gluten free beers.
Beach Nomad has already debuted its first gluten free beer, Chupa. This Pale ale was brewed with Amaranth, Sorghum and Quinoa with Ginger, Coriander and Orange zest. Additionally, the brewery has released their first IPA, Red Tide. Beer drinkers should not expect to see the same beers each visit. Brewer and owner, Milan Mladjan plans on using his one-barrel system to experiment with a wide variety of gluten free beers and traditional styles.
A partnership between Mladjan and Michael Lankford, Beach Nomad started with a passion for the beach, burgers, and beer. A love of travel, discovering local hideouts, creative takes on traditional pub grub and handcraft ales and lagers formed the basis for this brewpub.
Mladjan stated, “We’re excited to bring our vision to Rehoboth Beach. In addition to the traditional craft beer consumer, we’re looking forward to being able to service those who require gluten free beers and vegan menu items.”
Diners will be able to choose from a mix of appetizers, burgers and entrees. The signature appetizer, a Montreal Style Poutine, is an homage to Mladjan’s native Canada. The extensive burger selection includes a BLT burger and bison mushroom melt burger. For the vegans, a spicy black bean burger has been put on the menu. For those looking to enjoy an indulgent entrée, the chef has prepared Spicy Peruvian Chicken and an Herbed Salmon Bake.
The hours of operation are Thursday through Monday from 4pm to midnight. For more information, visit beachnomadbrews.com.
