From Sixpoint:
Jammer Day 2018 is a huge celebration of everyone’s favorite tangy summer slammer, and we created three new kinds of Jammer just for the occasion. Yuzu Jammer is a twist on the latest Citrus release—it comes in at the classic Jammer 4.0% ABV, and is refermented with Yuzu juice, and spiced with kaffir lime, thai basil, and habanero sea salt. It’s bright and citrusy, super complex, with a little heat and tanginess on the back end.
We also brewed two Imperial Goses we’ve been aging in barrels for months. The Gin Jammerwas aged in rare gin barrels and on juniper berries. It’s smoothed out in the barrels, still has that classic tart finish, and the aroma is bright, piercing juniper.
For Tequila Jammer we took the same Imperial base and aged it in Tequila barrels, then accented that with sweet orange peel. The tequila character makes for a beer almost unlike anything we’ve tasted. These are super unique creations that start to push the boundaries of what’s a beer and what’s a cocktail…
We’ll have a few extra fun elements for the release party this month—look out for a salt stationand juice bar for creating your own Jammer formulation. We also designed tie-dye Jammer t-shirts for the occasion available exclusively through the app. See you there!
