Elk Rapids, MI . - Short’s Brewing Co. announces the 3rd annual release of their #WithoutDelayIPA, Psychedelic Cat Grass. Packaged and distributed within 24 hours, Psychedelic Cat Grass is the freshest India Pale Ale available in the Great Lakes Region. This year, packaging of Psychedelic Cat Grass will begin at 12:01 am on Friday, May 25th with distribution to take place throughout the day.
According to Pauline Knighton-Prueter, Short’s Brewing Co. Sales Manager, “Every year we grow this project's reach, which means the logistical complexity also must grow. We will run our canning line and bottling line simultaneously and increase the amount of delivery vehicles en route. It is an all hands on deck type of project as we can't waste anytime. We appreciate all of our distribution partners for helping us make this project a success, especially since they are making this happen on the busiest beer holiday ever, Memorial Day weekend! What a great way to kick off summer!”
Psychedelic Cat Grass (7.6% ABV - 72 IBU) is a triple dry hopped American India Pale Ale first brewed for HopCat. Aromas of pineapple, mango, and grapefruit accompany the brew’s slightly hazy, pale orange color and lasting white head. A dry finish is preceded by balanced flavors of tropical fruit and bitter hops.
This year, Psychedelic Cat Grass will be released in limited quantities throughout Short’s Great Lakes distribution footprint; Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Short’s #WithoutDelayIPA will be packaged in six packs of 12 oz. bottles, six packs of 12 oz. cans and various keg sizes.
The Short’s crew will be celebrating the release of Psychedelic Cat Grass with tapping parties throughout their Great Lakes region distribution footprint.
