Güten Beer has just received the gold award in the 2018 World Beer Cup for being the best gluten-free beer in the world, after less than a year in the market. The World Beer Cup is a global beer competition that evaluates beers from around the world and recognizes the most outstanding brewers and their beers. The competition showcased more than 100 styles of beers at its award ceremony on May 3, 2018, at Music City Center in Nashville.
Güten Beer was awarded the gold award in the gluten-free beer style category. The beer is a select breed of alternative beers that is both packed with flavor and 100 percent gluten-free – one of the few 100 percent gluten-free, high-quality beers in the market. Güten Beer is brewed by Sleeping Giant Brewing Company using a state of the art facility located in the Rocky Mountains specifically designed to produce a fully gluten-free lager. Over the last several years, Güten Brands perfected its recipe using a combination of gluten-free malts, hops, and enzymes.

World Beer Cup winners were selected by an international panel of 295 beer judges from 33 countries, 72 percent of whom were from outside the United States. Widely regarded as the “Olympics of Beer,” the World Beer Cup saw an impressive field of 8,234 entries from 2,515 breweries in 66 countries—the largest competition to date.
