This morning we have an exciting collaboration beer coming from New Belgium Brewing in Fort Collins, CO. This is Bière de Mai and it is a “late spring” wild ale blended with foeder-aged dark and golden sour ales (25% Oscar / 75% Felix). This beer is a collaboration with Blackberry Farm Brewery’s Travis Hixon and New Belgium blended Lauren Woods Limbach. The beer uses 100% Troubadour Maltings grain and it will undergo a secondary fermentation with brettanomyces. The beer will roll in at 7.7%-AbV and it will be packaged in 750ml bottles.
