AZ Barrel House Tours Launches New Brewery Tour Program, Highlights Phoenix History Offers Brewery, Distillery and History Tour ExperienceFrom AZ Barrel House Tours:

Tempe, AZ, Feb. 6, 2018 — AZ Barrel House Tours, Phoenix’s newest craft beer educational and tourism activity, is pleased to announce its maiden voyage in Phoenix on February 14, 2018. These expert-guided brewery tours will take guests behind the scenes to breweries including Four Peaks
Brewing Company, Huss Brewing Company, and Helton Brewing Company and pairs their beer with Arizona distilleries including O.H.S.O. Distillery and Adventurous Stills.

Tours will be hosted and led by twenty-year Arizona Craft Beer veteran and AZ Barrel House owner, Tim Neuman. Guests can expect an all-inclusive bus tour experience that combines the hand-crafted beverages of its local artisans with a trip through Arizona’s recent history.

AZ Barrel House Tours is designed for both locals and visitors and offers a new perspective of Arizona using the lens of the local beer and spirits trade and how these businesses repurposed buildings to reshape the culture of Phoenix-area communities through their hand-crafted creations.

AZ Barrel House Tours will be launching over Arizona Beer Week with three different tour options - The Heart of Phoenix Tour, Tempe Historic, and The Scottsdale Loop Tour. These tours will also focus on unique aspects of the local history and story behind each location in addition to supplying plenty of craft beer and spirits samples, showcasing four different locations in each city.

“The term ‘Barrel House’ was given to any brewery, distillery, or pretty much anywhere that served alcohol during the Prohibition years,” says Tim Neuman. “I wanted to include places like The Main Ingredient (Ale House & Café in Phoenix) on the tour so I could include architecture with local character
and a story.”

“It’s a great concept,” says Rob Fullmer, Arizona Craft Brewers Guild Director. “It increases awareness of both our local brewery and distillery communities, boosts exposure to small businesses and educates.”

The price for each tour starts at $89.99, this price includes food, beverages at each location, top-notch transportation courtesy of Dunn Transportation, and the opportunity to meet the people behind the scenes at some of the area’s most popular locations.
