From Appalachian Brewing:
As always, I am keeping myself busy with adventurous new projects. We are winding down the construction on our new location in Shippensburg and we are also finishing up the development stage of our new product: Appalachian Craft Spirits. Our newest ABC is a little bit different than our other locations. It is going to go “PA Centric” featuring only PA beer, wine and spirits. We are partnering with Better World Spirits in Mechanicsburg and with many PA wineries to bring you the best PA has to offer. These PA products will be available initially in our Ship location and will find their way into our other ABC locations and better bars and restaurants in the region.
The bar was built in part by our contactors Rick and Amy Yohe and their team and the wood cabinets and finish was provided by Jeremy Boyer of Red Bread Rustics. Both companies are located in the Shippensburg area and we are very proud to use local craftsmanship to build our newest pub! A gracious “thanks” goes out to these professionals for their fine work and attention to detail!
On the beer side, Argyle Sweater IPA and the Hoppy Belgian Blonde continue to find their way into my glass, but I’ll be honest I have been cheating on Hoppy Trails with the Jolly Scot! Please don’t tell! This month you’ll find the release of our Zoigl Star Lager. This winter style lager is unfiltered and full of lager crispness and flavor. I hope you enjoy all of these beers and we look forward to serving you soon and often.
Cheers,
