Terrapin Beer Co. adds Luau Krunkles Passion Fruit-Orange-Guava IPA to the Year-Round Lineup for 2018.
Luau Krunkles is a fruited IPA inspired by fruit juice famous in the state of Hawaii, and named for Krunkles, the greatest IPA brewer you’ve never heard of. Originally, Luau Krunkles was featured in the IPA Survival Kit in 2016 as part of Terrapin’s Krunkles series. After it was replaced in the IPA Survival kit by Panama Krunkles in mid-2017, the beer made a limited release appearance in 6-packs.
Now, due to popular demand (and some encouragement from the Terrapin staff), the beer will be joining Terrapin’s Year-Round offerings that reach full distribution: Hopsecutioner, Hi-5, RecreationAle, Good to Gose, and Sound Czech Pilsner.
Who is Krunkles? He’s a fictitious brewer who travels the world making creative IPAs. Other Krunkles offerings from Terrapin in the past have included Captain Krunkles, Dr. Krunkles, and others. Read more about the man, the myth, and the legend at www.krunkles.com
