We brought you a peek at this beer, and now the full details from Odell Brewing:
Fort Collins, CO. - Odell Brewing has released a new seasonal offering, a 6.5% ABV American Brown Ale, Settle Down Brown.
“The colder months always get us reaching for darker beers with rich malts and warming notes” explains Brendan McGivney, COO. “For Settle Down we took those rich malts and brighten them up with some tropical hops.”
Settle Down Brown’s design is inspired by the log cabin featured in Isolation Ale. “Isolation Ale has been a mainstay in Odell Brewing’s seasonal lineup for 20 years,” said Alex Kayne, Director of Marketing. “With this new release, we thought we’d journey inside the iconic mountain cabin to see where our snowshoer puts his heels up. It’s our tribute to a special time of year in Colorado where we all look forward to moments of relaxation by the fire.”
Settle Down Brown is an American-style brown ale with a delightfully complex malt backbone and a hoppy kick reminiscent of pineapple, coconut and pine.
Coming in at 6.5%, Settle Down Brown will be available in 12-pack cans and 6-pack bottles across Odell’s 15-state distribution footprint.
