From New Belgium:
(FORT COLLINS, CO ) New Belgium Brewing has awarded national top honors to Skyland Distributing
Company of Asheville, NC and Caffey Distributing of Greensboro, NC as part of their 2017
Distributor of the Year Awards. These awards recognize distributor partners who have gone
above and beyond in the areas of market plan execution, new beer launches and sustainability
efforts. In addition to top honors, regional winners include: Bronken’s Distributing (MT), Hayden
Beverage Company (ID), Heart of America Beverage (MO), RMC Distributing (CO), Carolina
Premium Beverage (NC) and Andrews North Texas (TX).
“These distributors worked extremely hard and went above and beyond to ensure that New
Belgium continues to grow our sales & brand presence in a hyper competitive marketplace,” said
New Belgium Vice President of Sales, Michael Corrigan. “These awards give well-deserved
recognition to some of our leading partners, and we’re pleased to have this chance to say ‘thank
you.’ We know that it’s not easy out there, and we wouldn’t be where we are today without our
great distributor partners around the country.”
A points system broke out distributors into two tiers based on volume. One winner from each tier
was chosen and awarded top honors while two regional winners were selected from each of New
Belgium’s three divisions. New Belgium Area Sales Managers and Sales Directors totaled points
and compared notes to determine the final results.
