Piels Lager Returns Courtesy of Captain Lawrence

We have some interesting contract brewing news today and believe it or not it looks like Piels Lager will return.  Retired in 2015 by Pabst Brewing, Piels Brewing Company in NY is owned by descendants of the original Piels family and they are aiming to have the beer back on the market by 2018.  Today we have the approved packaging for Piels Lager and the beer will be contract brewed by Captain Lawrence in Elmsford, NY.  Look for Piels Lager to hit 4.7%-AbV and it will be package din 12oz Ball cans.  Stay tuned here for 2018 release info.
