From Four Peaks Brewing in Tempe, AZ:
A couple Four Peaks classics and a brand-new brew will arrive this month. First up: Kühl Beans, our imperial porter made with vanilla and Monsooned Malabar coffee beans, which are exposed to monsoon winds for several months to allow the beans to swell in size, lose their acidity and acquire mellow flavors of toffee, baker's chocolate and earth. This beer hits taps Wednesday, Nov. 8.
The newbie this month will be Double Raj, an imperialized version of our pub classic, Raj IPA. Double Raj multiplies the venerable ale's prestige with additional alcohol, enhanced malt flavor and an exquisite Britain-born hop aroma blending notes of lime, apricot and rose petals. It arrives Monday, Nov. 20.
And then we have the big one: Sirius Black, our bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout brewed with coffee and licorice root. This fan-favorite behemoth returns for one day only: Friday, Nov. 24 (AKA Black Friday). Sirius-branded growlers, snifters and glow-in-the-dark shirts (Seriously!) will be available while supplies last.
