Les Vergers de la Colline becomes Cidrerie Milton

Les Vergers de la Colline becomes Cidrerie MiltonFrom Cidrerie Milton:

A new name and brand new packaging! Les Vergers de la Colline is now Cidrerie Milton! And to celebrate, they've updated their CID line, with each label featuring a different cheeky animal with a story to tell...

CID Rosé: Named the best cider in North America in 2016, the CID Rosé features Jeannette the crow, who frequents the Dolgo crabapple orchards. A whole flock of crows, in fact, was infamous for pilfering the Dolgo apples before Cidrerie Milton transformed them into this champion cider.

Unlike many rose-colored ciders that take their color from berries, or even grape skins, the CID Rosé gets its tint by macerating the crabapples on their own shiny, red skins. Amazingly, this cider does exhibit flavors of bright, ripe strawberries and aromas of tart red currant, but it's made entirely from apples -- including Honeycrisp and Cortland to balance the Dolgos.

Available in 6x4-pack 330mL cases and 30L Dolium kegs

CID Houblonné

A hopped cider flavored with North American Cascade, Chinook, and Willamette, the CID Houblonné is made from McIntosh and Spartan apples, all grown on the cidery's orchard.

The IBUs are subtle, with herbal, citrus, and delicate floral flavors. Though ax-wielding bears are not involved in the actual hop harvest, one could, after a few sips, imagine this cider's lovable mascot sauntering off through the fields to chop down a few hop vines at the arrival of spring.

Available in 6x4-pack 330mL cases

CID Cuivré

Inspired by the ice ciders that Quebec is known for, the CID Cuivré is a hybrid of sorts.

To create an authentic ice cider, with its concentrated sugars and flavors, producers must first allow apples on the trees to freeze before also freezing the resulting juice. With CID Cuivré, Cidrerie Milton follows both steps, but with less concentration, making the final product just as complex but more refreshing.

Full-bodied and a hefty 10% ABV, the Cuivré is nonetheless very easy to drink, with concentrated flavors and just the right balance of sugar to acidity. The lightness provided by carbonation combined with the high alcohol content could very quickly inspire the drinker to fly away with Jeremiah the frog!

Available in 30L Dolium kegs
