Big brewpub news coming from BrewDog :
We love serving up super-fresh craft beer to the thirsty people of London. Without doubt, it is one of the best cities for beer in the world. Until next year that is, when it’s going to get even better. We have had an offer accepted on an 8,500 square foot location square in the city, a stone’s throw from the Thames. It will be the biggest BrewDog bar in the world, second only to our Columbus taproom. So with this much space we are going to do something truly special.
We are going to unleash the first BrewDog BrewPub.
We are going to rock a 10HL brewkit inside, producing small-batch exclusives for the people of the city that has supported us since we opened our first London bar in 2011. The look of the BrewPub is being dialled in at the moment and we can’t wait to get inside the building so that work can begin on turning it into the flagship BrewDog outpost in the city!
The BrewPub will be situated on the ground floor of the neo-Gothic Minster Building at the corner of Great Tower Street and Mark Lane. We love the area; our first UK BrewPub and newest UK Bar will be moments from the Tower of London and equidistant between the iconic bridge there and London Bridge, a short distance upriver.
Aside from the 10HL brewing facility we are planning on plenty of other kick-ass features – the BrewPub will have a full kitchen with a range of pairing-friendly food, a fully stocked integrated BottleDog for chilled craft beer to drink on site or takeaway, a BrewDog merch zone and an area with arcade games to while away the hours.
With great transport links (the BrewPub is two minutes’ walk from Tower Hill underground and five from Monument) we are psyched to be able to pull the trigger on a BrewPub there. Stand by for future updates as we look to get this amazing location open in the first quarter of next year.
London! Are you ready for some hometown BrewDog beer to call your own?
